Hugi + Muni Relief Print

Hand-pressed 9-color original linoleum block print.

Inspired by the Dimension 20 actual-play TTRPG series "The Gladlands" this piece depicts two crows and their collection of little treasures.

The exchange between Vic Michaelis' Hugi and Brennan Lee Mulligan's Aunt Freaky was one of the most poignant and honest conversations on grief and reconciliation I've ever seen. How we all process grief in a spectrum of ways. How some of those ways build impossible to scale walls between us and others. How we can still dismantle those walls even years later, and reconnect. How it's never too late to grieve a loss that you've put off grieving.

Hugi and her cousin Muni travelled the Gladlands collecting little treasures together, and even after Muni died, their treasures still remain. Thought and Memory. Keepsakes of a life that was here and won't be forgotten.
